‘A Bridge Too Far’ began with questions about a relationship. The theme of the questions and stories that are given to the characters contain the constant conscious worries about my life. Those questions are what I do to myself. And to relate the stories of questions that have been thrown to the later generations of the 1980s like me is the act of craving answers to vague lives through my generation’s consciousness of contemporary life.

The characters on both screens seem to converse in one space at the same time, at first glance, and seem to match the point or partial context of the conversation. When the story of a male actor is performed on one screen, the gaze of a female actor, or the emotional response or reaction does not appear on the other screen, and only the male actor’s words are repeatedly displayed as a subtitle.
Through this discrepancy or the repetition of language in my work, I wanted to make it possible for viewers to come into the immersion and the immersion interference in the exhibition space. Also, I tried to induce audiences to experience the slippage of language in the work, and to re – understand or think about ‘inevitable communication’ and ‘relationships’.
